We’re now going through a period of rapid growth and are looking for an experienced, independent, and analytically minded senior market analyst to further scale our team.


You will be responsible for producing quantitative and qualitative analysis pertaining to the current and future state of industrial automation technology markets. Your job will be to become a subject matter expert on the markets you cover in order to guide clients as they look to plan for their own business using the analysis you produce.

This specific appointment will be covering automation technology used within packaging operations. A multi-billion dollar market, growth in packaging automation has surged with the proliferation of e-commerce. Interact Analysis is looking to become the leading market intelligence provider to this space. You would be the first analyst in this division and as such, would have the opportunity to substantially influence its development. Prior experience within the packaging industry is NOT necessary for consideration.


This role is highly diverse. You will be responsible for producing data and insight which can be used by clients to plan for their businesses. You would also be responsible for handling client feedback and presenting your findings when necessary. Outside of these responsibilities, you will be actively involved in the sales process for projects not directly commissioned by clients.

The most successful candidate for this role will demonstrate a balance between being creative and analytical. Because you will be directly responsible for producing analysis which is not readily available anywhere, the level of ambiguity in this job can be high at times. Being comfortable navigating ambiguity in the research process is key to success.

Candidates will need to demonstrate proficient skills in excel, power point, and PowerBI (or equivalent). SQL is a plus, but not essential. Additionally, successful candidates will demonstrate exceptional written skills and an awareness of world events economically and otherwise.

Specifically, we’re looking for:

  • At least 2 years of experience in an analytical role
  • An interest in technology trends, economics, and world events
  • Strong written skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to multiple types of audiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Access; knowledge of SQL and Python would be beneficial
  • Entrepreneurial by nature. You will have ownership over the projects you are responsible for and will need to be able to work independently to achieve success.

In addition to the above, there will also be opportunity to travel internationally as much of the business is focused in regions overseas. While you can expect to travel a few times a year, it is not overbearing and 90% of the year you will be working from home or the office.

We recognize that work from home is preferred by many people. We offer the option of working from the office or a hybrid model (2 or 3 days a week in office). It is up to the employee what they prefer to do however we ask that during the first few months of training, employees work from the office to hasten the process.
